Re: 356 Oil temp sender and gauge ramblings

Nice work. If you want the original gauge repaired at some point try North Hollywood or Palo Alto - both get well written up in the 356 registry:

Re: Tuning Solex P11 40-4 carbs after rebuild

Hi John, I just ordered some aluminium washers 12 x 16 x 1.5 for the fuel banjo joints from: http://www.gwr-fasteners.co.uk/ 50 for £4.56 delivered. I haven't used them yet so can't guarantee they fit. People seem to use copper, aluminium and red fibre washers - the Registry forum wasn't definitive ...

KTF Hugo I have mentioned this before, but here goes again: If a group of up to about 15 cars fancy a day out I can organise a visit to the Frazer Nash Archives, of which I am a trustee. The Porsche rel...

356s at the Revival

Does anyone know why there are no 356s on the entry list for the Revival this year (or Porsches for that matter)? https://www.goodwood.com/globalassets/.road--racing/event-coverage/revival/2016/september/entry-list/goodwood-revival-entry-list-2016.pdf Seems a shame after Chris Harris result in the P...

Re: Strange reversing issue

Is the ground that runs from the gearbox to the body good & clean? If not, I've read that an unreliable earth can find its way through the throttle linkage - could the same apply to the gear linkage that is being broken when you engage reverse?
