Recommendations for moving something from Denmark

Any recommendations on moving something big and heavy from Denmark to the UK?
It's actually a beetle floorpan so not the easiest thing to handle... :? Just looking into feasibility.

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......

Spotted this interesting and understated RS in the Revival carpark on Friday. RHD, Touring with sunroof and rear wiper with ducktail delete. Also had tartan recaros! http://www.markhinxman.co.uk/ddk/rs.jpg I met the owner of that car some years ago in Royston while it was sitting in traffic. At fir...

Re: early front wings or indicator wing sections WTD

I have a pair of early wings. They need a bit of work but probably easier than converting late to early.
I'll post pictures later.

Re: So .. Sales of new petrol and diesel powered cars banned

I'm afraid to say those of us who want to own a car are dinosaurs. Mobility solutions are the future and that's buying into the brand not the metal box on wheels. Working with the car industry I can see it's beginning to happen already in the background. It's going to be messy but it's coming...

Re: Market Value for my 69t coupe RHD.

I think this is being undervalued too. Engine and gearbox swaps were hardly uncommon back in the day, especially for sportos. Does that mean theyre all scrap? Its crazy. When people call this a bitsa, it seems far more together and purer than something thats been turned into an RS or ST look-alike w...

O/T Hessisch Oldendorf 17

I know there's a few Volkswagen fans in the DDK fraternity - are there any travelling to The 7th International Vintage Volkswagen Show in Hessisch Oldendorf this weekend?
If so it would be good to meet up.

Re: Magnus Walker

He spent a huge amount of time on Monday signing books at the Ace with little fuss, and seemed genuinely interested in everyone. He's genuinely down to earth and enthusiastic. He even brought his mum along for the occasion.

Re: Luftgekühlt 2017

I've been going to car shows (hot rod, VW and Porsche) in the USA for years – 55 trips to the USA so far – and the big difference is that there is a lot less 'friction' (for want of a better word) between the hot rodders and restorers. It's all about car culture – and we just don't have it in the s...

Re: Luftgekühlt 2017

I was going to ask why we can't have something like this in the UK, but figured someone would mention the weather. Then I noticed it seemed to have been raining there, so.......why can't we do this here? Ian I suppose we have classics at the castle although Luftgekühlt seems a bit more 'hip'? The c...
