Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

So a 911T with RS bits is worth £81k but an RS chassis number on a similar car makes it worth double and the bidding is still going up? You can see the appeal of doing this kind of stuff.

Wow what an interesting guy and someone I knew nothing about! 101 years old and still going strong. Every day's a school day! Thanks Keith. A friend of mine sells loads of cars through there. I dont know the detail, but it seems very positive. If you have a particular question about it I could ask him Graham?

Re: OT: land/property/building expertise

Another massive fan of underfloor here. In fact my favourite thing about lock down and wfh is walking about the house all day with bare feet! I totally agree with Hugh about being wary of new ways of doing things when it comes to building. As an industry, local builders can be exceptional at doing t...

Re: OT: land/property/building expertise

We built our house 10 years ago. We split the plot of our original house and built the new one where the double garage had been. 6 months before we started I was bought The Housebuilder’s Bible by Mark Brinkley for my birthday. I got a few chapters in and really lost interest. There were a few great...

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

Non matching dash top, seats, carpet, door cards/lower dash, etc. In fact the original ad says it’s a brown interior (?) so nothing matches. Lid hinges. Love sepia brown but that is one mixed up 73. Regards Mike OK so it’s a mixed up ‘73 but not a bitsa car......and I admit that I do like it. Is £5...
