Re: Germans courts on the case

A murky world of old competition cars, even the manufactures themselves in the 60s and early 70s swapped over more than number plates. Sometimes this was because of accidents and sometimes to ease movements between countries. Do I recall Audi , allegedly, swapping doors on a Quattro during a rally ?

Re: WTD - 915 Gearbox and RHD pedal box etc, to convert a Sp

There’s a Girl I know from the UK having her 2.4E restored in Eastern Europe. It’s originally a Sporto but was converted to race with a manual box ( Liam Dowling‘s car ). She decided to leave it manual , but I reckon that decision was on the basis of the hassle involved. Maybe it’s worth it putting ...

Re: E10 fuel additives

Porsche make an additive for adding to the tank of a car in long term storage, they also make a claim that their Classic Oil is suitable for long periods between firing up the engine. We’ll see ! I’m using both this past year.

Re: Receiving Parcels from the EU Post Brexit....

Boris added a protocol to the Brexit Agreement which has had the effect of moving the border to the middle of the Irish Sea and no land border between Ireland and Northern Ireland. He’s tried to worm out of this protocol which is linked to the Good Friday Peace Agreement. Mess with the GFPA and bloo...

Re: Porsche Classic Oil

One advantage that Porsche AG claim for their Classic Oil is that it’s designed for engines that are infrequently started as many Classic 911s are weekend cars.

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

I suppose I’m a philistine but I cannot get to like 356s, I’m 66 so maybe too young. They seem a funny shape and slow even by cars only ten years younger. And they have that putt putt putt sound.

Rattle from Engine

Returning from a 150 mile motorway drive on Sunday a noise appeared at the end. I think a timing chain tensioner- 1972 S

What should I do

Turbo tie rods

Would anyone have a part number for a turbo tie rod , RHD drivers side , or perhaps an alternate supplier mother than Porsche, ie might it be common to Vauxhall or another make ?
