Re: Rear trailing arms

Hi.
Currently they are still on the car, as I have a test day on Sunday.
I’m planning on doing a full suspension overall and re plating etc…
I am based in the midlands but I could come up for a day out or could ship them.
Cheers.

Hi guys.
Does anyone know a place when I can get the rear trailing arms check for correct tolerance?
It’s for a 1970 911’S
Cheers.

Fuel gauge not working.

Hello. For some reason my 356A was wired up as a positive earth. I have since sorted this so it is now a negative earth. Unfortunately neither my fuel gauge or oil temp gauges work. (They did not actually work before either). Does anyone know if the fuel /oil gauge modules are available? I realise t...

Thanks for your advice.

Re: Nearly ready for electrics and paining.

Hi Ian.
That's great thanks.
Really appreciate it.
Did you get yours blasted or cleaned up and rubbed down.
Don't think the engine castings would take to being blasted.
Cheers.

Nearly ready for electrics and paining.

Hi.
Q1..
I have lost my photo copies of the wiring diagram for a 218 standard.
Does anyone have a copy I could please borrow or could you post some images?

Q2....
Does anyone have any advice on how best to paint a tractor?
All in one go or in stages.
Cheers in advance.

Re: Standard 218 flywheel removal

Just figured out that the Porsche workshop manual is wrong.
Finally got it off and yes it's very heavy.

Hi guys. I guess this might be an easy question for some but. Our group of apprentices are starting our tractor rebuild. They have started to strip the engine down and they cannot figure out how to remove the flywheel. To remove the bolts behind it (guessing there are bolts behind it) Any assistance...

Re: 356 front brakes.

When was the last time the brake fluid was changed.
It made a big difference after I had changed the fluid and bled the brakes.
