Re: Help please with virtually non running C

Hi
I had a similar sounding problem on my 912. I struggled to get my head around it as I was getting fuel but we changed the fuel pump and problem solved. I would definitely try an electric pump.
Good luck

Re: YOB 3

No idea about the car, but my 1960 356 was originally registered with YOB 3 as it’s plate. On the AFN kardex YOB 3 November 1960. Then according to the kardex was changed to 5 EYX in 1967. Not sure when it got its current number.

Advice on something newer Carrera/964/993

Hi Was just after some more advice if that’s ok. Been thinking about something newer than I’m used to that I can do some longer trips in with my wife, so a bit more comfort and reliability/ease. I’m restoring a 1960 356, have a 1963 beetle and recently sold a 1967 912. Originally I was looking at ei...

Re: 997 or high mileage 993

Thanks for the replies. That is a very compelling case for the 993. The head says the 997 would probably do everything I want it to perfectly and I would really enjoy it. But the heart says I want the 993. I think I would enjoy the process of getting it how I want it. And isn’t the hunt for a decent...

Re: 997 or high mileage 993

So the 993 has a few fans, that’s good to hear. I understand I would be at the very bottom off the ladder on these and that a my big concern but I’m happy to sort as I go as long as I can still go. I’m not allergic to a socket set and can work on a car, plus I have friends that a far cleverer than m...

Re: A Trivial Moan

I think they are only standard M10 x 50 or 55 12.9 grade cap screws from memory. It will be stamped on the head, then let me know the length under the head and the diamater of the shank.
Let me know i may have some here.

Re: DDK Market Forces

I have been looking to sell a 356 project and buy something more modern for the last few month and there are a few things i have noticed compared to when i bought the 912/356. The 356. My opinion is the interest is still there amongst the 40 plus age group. I put the car up on DDK and put the "...

No longer for sales - Porsche 356 UK RHD project

Maestro engine and tune up videos

Hi
I have a set of 6 maestro videos including the tune up video.
No idea on value so thinking £100 if you think differently and fancy making an offer then that would be be more than welcomed.
Thanks
