I want to fit a period looking chrome electric aerial / antenna to my 1966 LHD 912. The Hirschmann AUTA 2050 seems the most appropriate but I’m not sure if the motor will fit given the tight space in that front left wing with the fuel filler and all. Has anyone ever attempted this? I need to replace the white 1/10 wheel and one of the black wheels the trip counter as the little pawls inside mine are lose so it won't reset - anyone have an old counter or dials parts they can spare? It's for my 1966 912 - will hopefully be at Stanford Hall on Sunday

Yes I'd contacted Porsche last week but was deterred by how much it cost !!! Hoping to find less shiny (cheaper!) version on here if anyone has one. I've just sourced very tired looking ARB set which needs stripping and re-coating so I'm not concerned about condition.

I remember having trouble finding the right size too for my late 65, but eventually found success with an Exide 155te a457 battery.

I've had it just over 2 years and no problems at all.
