Re: Crowd Classics
Whilst the idea of crowdfunding and classic car 'funds' doesn't set my world on fire, at all, I do tend to view it as a supportive factor from a price point of view. Again, not necessarily a good thing for all current enthusiast owners. How the other half live kinda problem but I will say that I am ...

Re: 356 restoration - possible crowd funding?
There was a geezer on Grand Designs the other week who got help from volunteers to restore his shed of a boat into something habitable. Perhaps this is a route. Problem being you need specialist skills and I wouldn't imagine those come for free.

I'd be grateful to see a route for this. Whilst I am not able to join the tour, I am at Spa in the McMonster on the Monday and Tuesday for 2 days of track time.

Re: Long Distance Restoration 1970, 911T
Oh dear dear Jos, I am sorry to read this after the many highs of the restoration thread and the roller coaster Stateside journey. Wtf have they done to it?! I am sure sensible people will have practical advice which might include one of those anti saline spray things, or steam cleaning the whole lo...

Re: 2.2S Engine
If it were me I wouldn't bother with a rebuild Darren. I just don't think you'll see any return on the time and effort and I can understand your project fatigue. Instead sell it as a complete set and get on with enjoying the hotrod. I can't think there will be many folks looking for a box fresh 2.2s...

Re: 2.2S Engine
Well I know what my rebuild cost (20k). I know what Ants old lime green RS backdate machine with a genuine 2.7 RS engine in returned, Dans hotrod with an RS block and another backdate with an RS engine costs (£100). So to me the lower bound is 25k which may not account for the physical kit and I thi...

Re: Custom/besoke Porsche leather keyrings *UNIQUE*
I'm convinced there is some PM problem I did receive yours with pics. This was my attempted reply: Great pics. Yep got it. A thread somewhere called "a whole new thing" I think a key ring with the mclaren text and their swoosh thing. Like on the rear spoiler or engine cover in the photos. ...
