Re: Low power and bangs backfiring

Thanks for your suggestion but I understood that was something harder... Probably related to valves Before getting up on tow truck I noticed an oil leak... Not so small...(picture)... Only with engine running so I suspect rocker arm axle out of his site...this would explain problem on valves and oil...

Re: 2,2 engine "powered"?

@fethuoe if I correctly undestand I fear that I made the mistake to let the operator print both graphics on the same page but with only one vertical scale. Before printing he showed me on the monitor power and torque on separate graphs and I shot only power (follows) http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/...

Dear all Gentlemen Today I rolled my car on a dyno and results are pleasently a confirm of standard power (123 hp) although at 5200 rpm...less than 5800 that Porsche declared... Torque 18,48 kgm at 4200 rpm with a constant level at almost 18kgm from 3000rpm to 4500rpm I'm happy with these results ca...

Re: Air duct behind fan-housing

Dear All I finally found a used air duct to replace my missing unit... Just a doubt about correct position (it could be fixed rotating it by 60 degrees up to 360 degrees wrong...) If I refer to Porsche Spare parts catalogue (number 13) http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190425/f8704fbf829e5a2b9d79efe...

Re: 2,2 engine "powered"?

@neilbardsley thank you for your question.
My concern is if the car is really properly tuned with a std set up on a not properly std engine

Re: 2,2 engine "powered"?

Thank you for your supposals @fetuhoe Now my concerns are: If my engine got a sort of "tune up", with specifics set cams phase set up... (E model or similar to E model or simply "unique"...) but my local dealer porsche that follows only original specs phased it as an original one...

Re: 2,2 engine "powered"?

@fetuhoe thanks for your consideration: cylinder are original(according to code on them) as I presume pistons: engine has surely received a "head" refurbishment considering the oil chain tensioners installed. I think that no other rebuilding have been made. Mileage is 86.000 and seems corr...
