Re: Ram pipes

Hi ignatzcatz, I went through this with the maserati project and found that https://www.carbparts.eu/ were good and made me some custom aluminium trumpets (for clearance I needed shorter than stock). For the look I went with mesh screens from Bill Hirsch in the US (he makes the ones here: https://we...

Re: DDK London Christmas Dinner Tues 11 Dec 7:30

I'm definitely coming! As Dave says, happy to transfer funds in advance if needed. Is a great event and so definitely shouldn't peter out. Anyone else we can rustle up Dave (if not I'm sure 10 will be fine)?

Looking forward to it

Re: Classic Retrofit: Six phase high output alternator

Hi

These look really good. Would they also fit into a 993 turbo fan? (I can provide one to check one day at the fairmile).

best regards

Re: Feedback wanted please. Classic Retrofit: Early fuse pa

Hi, I love the idea of these but also like my original looking fuse covers. Could the headlight relays be moved off the board to a little box or separate board / panel that could be hidden somewhere? If the finished height of the fuses still stops the original covers fitting, could you make rectangu...

Re: Slightly Off Topic - Insurance Renewal Advice

Went with RH for both Porsche's in the end, good quote and very easy / friendly to deal with.

Re: Classic Retrofit CDI+: very happy customer

So could a future product be a new circuit board to replace the one inside the rpm transducer/speed sensor with a new automotive relay (and input from the CDI+)? Then could put the new board inside the existing transducer case and everything would look original (but hopefully work reliably). Could k...

Slightly Off Topic - Insurance Renewal Advice

Well its that time again and I'm after any recommendations on insurers who are happy to insure a non-running, non-mot'd 2.2s project (albeit a reasonably valuable one given recent price rises) and don't insist on a tracker. Would probably insure my (nearly running, hopefully) 993 project with the sa...

Re: Porsche Fuse holder help (993)

Just in case anyone runs into this again, I now have a collection of fuse holders.

The original Porsche one for a 993 is exactly the same as this one (which fits):
http://www.inlinefilters.co.uk/Electric ... AM-FH520.1

and different from the 996 and VW one's that I found.

Porsche Fuse holder help (993)

Hi All A bit off topic for DDK, but you never know, someone may be able to help me. This is for my 993 (rewiring project). I need some urgent help, I'm looking for a 40A fuse holder but can't find one (have mailed the various UK breakers but can't find one). In the engine bay relay box there is a si...
