Re: Rear LED Brake lights Group Buy
Has anyone who has fitted these compared the difference in output between rear side and Brake lights?
The last set of LEDs i had fitted, i was told the difference was not the same as standard, so peeps behind couldn't tell when brakes had been applied.
I've swapped back to standard for now.

Re: Doesn’t make for good reading on Impact Bumpers
If they turn up at the NEC show in November, as they did last year, i think someone should rent a sandwich board and 'patrol' the area.

Re: Dreaming of a Swap Meet
I thought this was the problem with Neil’s day at BSM - not enough buyers.MikeyC wrote:Hmmmm. Any buyers?
Where else has this event been advertised? I’m on a couple of Porsche owner FB groups, I posted on one of them (the large one) about it yesterday, but i’ve only read about it elsewhere on IB.com

Re: A 3.2 which will run 8,000 rpm?
I’ve got some work going on via Neil Bainbridge so can help with some of the prices JE pistons (2018) - 1200 + VAT (11.5:1 & twin plug, but I think all CRs priced the same) - my cams are timed at 5mm, so unsure if further machining will be required. Pauter rods (2017) - 1695+vat Cams - Elgin cam...

Re: High Torque Starter Motor
I have the benefit of the two types of design on the very same engines and compression ratio, both 3.2 flat 6's. The 'standard' design is much slower to turn the engine over in comparison to the Brize. The 911 I have is 2 x 12v batteries with the 'standard' design of hi-torque and will churn the en...

I enjoyed it too, but it was definitely low in terms attendance from the public. Needs better timing and/or publicity if its happening again next year (which i think it should).

Re: Exhaust coating
I believe Performance1 Coatings is an Agent for Zircotec. The reason for me asking is because I’ve had the exhaust manifold coated in their Volcanic Black last year. It started flaking after 12 months and they re-applied the coating in Feb this year and they covered all costs.. Now this has started...
