I don't think that you'll be able to knock a dent out of an alloy rim and true it up, like you would a steel rim. I think all you'll succeed in doing is to crack it. We have an expert up here that has done a few for me in the past for the rally cars, and I know he used to do all the works Opel Rally...

I'd just sold my MGA Coupe, bought two years previously and I completely rebuilt it from the chassis up. I used the money to buy my first 911, a beautifully original signal orange, ex South Africa 1971 2.2 911T Sporto. The previous owner had spent £10k in the last 10 years of ownership keeping on to...

I will vouch for Mark, having bought parts from him over the last 10 years on and off.
Top man.

Renewed with Hagerty for the RS Rep 14th December at a price better than any of the competition, (and I tried another 7 or eight, including those highlighted above), so happy for this year. However, will need ins. for my other toy coming at the end of Feb (Alfa GTA Rep), and that's valued at £20k so...

Try Chris Flavell at Fenn Lane Motorsport, the last time I spoke to him he said he was now making these, I've always found their GRP parts to be accurate and good quality.
They may well be more keenly priced too.

My RS Rep is with Hagerty and I have no problems, having given them a comprehensive list of the modifications done during the conversion, including half roll cage, seats, wheels, body panels etc.
Is a very competitive price, even with my 28 year old son included.

On my car (a 3ltr) it's very loud without the baffles in, but unless you're at full throttle, it sounds more TVR than 911. (Some people may like it) With the baffles in it is perfectly acceptable for a 911 sports exhaust , a very crisp note, but still not how I'd imagined. I have a mate with a "...

Tim, I had the same problem some years ago with the Marelli in my 2.2T.
Picked a Bosch one up, a "008" as Andy says in his post, at Husborne Crawley.
Fitted perfect, no more obsolescence issues.

Bronco, I bought the exhaust from Brian, and it hasn't been "put straight on Ebay". It has in fact been on my car for 3 weeks, but I have found it not quite what I expected it to be from an exhaust note point of view and I have bought a 2 in , 3 out silencer which enables me to "turn ...

I've seen the car in the flesh at a Porsche Show some years back, and the car was nicely finished , but as a bodyshape replica is quite frankly ..........ghastly.
Everything about it screams WRONG.
Its been for sale forever.

Worth the sum of its parts and no more.

Keith, I agree with everything you say about the position of the steering wheel and controls in a left hooker, it's where it was meant to be, and feels much better, however, having tried both in quite a few different cars over almost 40 years of driving, I cannot say that LH is better on English roa...
