Re: phil Raby 911t for sale?
Shame. Replace the centre of the seats and that could be a very cool car, but a misunderstanding of the absolute basics doesn't fill you with confidence that the rest of the ad is accurate. Re: Rolex Milli-Sub
Great reply Brooksey as it reminds me of when we phased out our Siebe- Gorman diving helmets. They had to be returned to the main stores in Portsmouth dockyard where we learned their fate was going to be an axe through the top of them so they could not be used in any diving activities just purely sc...

Re: Rolex Milli-Sub
Blog away, hindsight is a great thing but at the time it was just another bit of kit issued to you. Yes it was a Rolex and it did have a certain kudos attached to it as i think ordinary submariners were about £1500-2000 new . When did the milli-subs suddenly emerge as collector pieces as when we wer...

Hi all, i'm new to the forum and spotted the threads on watches and thought i would tell my tale of woe . From 1979 when i qualified as a salvage diver till 2004 i worked for the M.O.D doing various underwater tasks. On joining the team i was entitled to a diving watch which i duly ordered from the ...

Re: 911/912 Hybrid
Thanks for the input about the car. Pricewise most pre 73 cars i have seen advertised seem to fall into the £25-35,000 bracket apart from concours and 'S' versions. Is this car priced according to the rarity of '65 models in this country or do they come up for sale now and again ? The only reason t...

911/912 Hybrid
This 1965 911/912 has caught my eye at Naddervalley classics and i'm wondering what the general view from the members are regarding price and desirability. It seems to have had a thorough going over but i suppose who done the work is more relevant. Sorry i have not posted a link but i will figure th...

Hi everyone, as you can guess i live in portsmouth and have been a long time lurker on the site. At present i'm running a 1976 guards red 2.7 which has had copious amounts of money lavished on it ! I would like to get a swb car in the future or anything pre 73 and have been keeping a close eye on pr...
