Thanks for the replies folks, is it possible to buy some sort of refurbishment/rebuild kit, ideally in the UK? i knoe PRS sell the springs, maybe it just needs those....although I'm obviously no expert!

Hi Folks Took the A to get it set up on the rolling road but the fella could only do a partial job due to "some wear in the dizzy", could be just springs but could need more. The dizzy in my A is a Bosch VJR4 BR18. Can anyone recommend a good contact who can refresh/rebuild the dizzy (pref...

Hi Ian,
Yep got one complete with red top and washer motor, it's actually the windscreen washer unit 911 628 027 00.
Don't know what it's worth but it will definitely be under a grand ha, ha!!!!

Thanks for all the support folks, I really appreciate it! Got to attend to all the fiddly bits now i.e. throttle and clutch adjustment and optimising the handbrake and then the remainder of the interior can be fitted prior to getting it MOT'd (peace of mind). The code for continental orange is 107, first introduced in 1975.
My RSR Kremer tribute car is painted Continental orange BTW!
