1969 912 Indicators N/W
On my 69 912 three of the indicators are not working. Two fronts and one rear I have checked all the bulbs and fitting and they are fine, however Max at Revival suggested there is a master plug and socket that could be disconnected but I could not grasp where that plug was situated. There is no feed...

Re: 69 912 door key
The re tumblering seems to be the best idea Mick. I have a good locksmith shop locally a spare key blank, the original passenger door key and both door handles off....apparently it's foolproof !! Ha ha ha, knowing my luck. I will report back tomorrow

69 912 door key
I have only one door key for my car which fits the drivers door but will not work the passenger side. I have the handle and barrel out but cannot see any numbers anywhere. Is it possible to get a key cut?

Re: Correct Aerials and Speaker for 912 1967?
I'd say definitely manual. The correct position would not accept an electric antenna as the motor on the bottom would be in the way. At that time two piece electric antennas were not available. An electric antenna would only fit in front of the splash panel and the factory would not fit it there as ...

I need a dash top, door panels, door bins for my 69. Has anyone used Southbound, Lakewell Design911 or Roger Bray for any of these, and if so are they all the same quality?

Re: Correct Aerials and Speaker for 912 1967?
Neil Speaker for your car is unnaturally expensive, I agree. I bought mine from Koenigs along with the Hirschmann antennae Remember if you fit the antennae on the wing, which will give you trouble free reception on all wave bands, in the correct position, with a bottom support, which is important be...

Re: Fuel Starvation
OK, so I have just removed both carbs and they were both fuelled so it appears the pump and link and floats are OK However the bowls were filled with the dirtiest brown fuel imaginable So chaps, I now intend to drain the tank and refill with clean fuel, change the fuel filter to a clear filter so I ...

Re: Fuel Starvation
Update...... I cranked the engine and fuel is getting into the bowl I removed the eight screws and the top plate to expose the float and it seems to be set very low...at least half an inch difference to the picture you posted Andrew There is a screw at the back, I assume this is to adjust the float ...

Re: Fuel Starvation
Hi Neil Not sure if the Solex's have an accelerator pump..where would it be sited? Some of the technical stuff that Andrew is suggesting may be beyond me so I have started to look for alternatives, even though I will take a look at the split shafts when I remove them I have some solid shaft P40-11's...

Re: Fuel Starvation
Hi fellas Well I finally bit the bullet and spent some time in the garage moving the 912 forward. I managed to get the fuel up to the fuel pump and across the other side by use of this little gadget http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381077167110?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT...
