Has anyone used these people to restore an 016 distributor? https://www.facebook.com/pages/HH-Ignit ... 7597200938
They tell me they can sort worn shafts and vacuum problems.
Anyone got any experience of them or alternatively any other advice such as don't do it, go here....

Re: Lee's Truck
Truck update....took a potential buyer for spin today. He won £20,000 on the lottery at the weekend, is single, middle aged and is obviously trying to rediscover the child within ( psychology is a big hobby of mine ) Unfortunately we ran out of fuel some two miles in to the test drive...the truck is...

Re: Lee's Truck
It's a difficult sell gridgway....it's a very specific market. You either get people who want to offer low, I've had two offers of £7,000 and £7,500, or those who want one completely repainted with power steering and disc brakes that really cost around £20-£25,000 so it does not fit there. I had a b...

Re: Ethics
Much too much money for the car....needs £7-10,000 spending on it........that is why it is still available in the U.S.
Obviously he's trying to jump on the rising price bandwagon without any real insight into the market
Chancer....Googled his address and no premises, working from home

Not sure if these type of ads are ethical. I saw this car in an ad in the USA...checked with the vendor that it was still available, which it was, then it appeared here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-912-Coupe-1969-Classic-Left-Hand-Drive-/131532803815?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e9ff74ee...

Re: Windscreens
Jury
Completely agree....originally I was supplied a copy for the rear screen but Addisons called and said it would not hold the aluminium strip n place
Once the OEM rubber was fitted it was all fine

Windscreens
I have no affiliation but had the screens on my 69 refitted by these people....http://addisonglass.co.uk/windscreens/ The rear is tricky given the heated rear screen wires as well as chrome trim needing to work together They were a treat to deal with, real old skool (sic) and a company who know thei...

WTB 69 LWB 912 Floor Mats
I've asked in the parts wanted section but I need just a drivers (LHD) side tailored floor mat in Perlon
Obviously I'd take a pair if someone has them as it's 8-10 weeks from Southbound and cannot find anyone else with them in the UK
Of course if anyone knows differently...........

Re: 1969 912 Indicators N/W
Thanks everyone, suffice to say given my history working in my youth with car electrics as a car audio specialist I am incredibly embarrassed to report that my problem was cured with some Emory cloth and a 12v tester. The bloody obvious is invariably the cause but as I had removed wings and fiddled ...
