Faulty Engine Bay Regulator Plate

Might be useful to someone with a similar problem... For something like four years I've had a problem with an intermittent miss-fire when the engine has been running for a while and has got to normal temperature. Being intermittent it's been impossible to track down and only happened on a run for a ...

Rear Fog Light Wiring

My '14 was supplied with the Rear Fog L:ight option which I would like reinstate. I have found a stray wire in the rear harness (white or grey with green tracer) which looks promising. The dash switch is fitted but has no power. Has anyone come across a wiring diagram for the rear fog light, in part...

Re: Tyre sizes

185/65 - 15's on 5 1/2 wheels Keith. 75's would probably fit the arches better though if available.

Re: Another one joins the ranks...

Thanks for that Kevin, half the price too! I did see you at the Roger Bray open day, tried to catch your eye but had to leave early. Order placed so will strip down the column this weekend in preparation.

Good looking '14 btw and a great deal on the seats!

Thanks again.

Re: Another one joins the ranks...

Hi Keith, Interested to read the "fix" for excessive play in the steering column as I have the same problem. Have looked on the Design 911 site, is it the 928 Steering Column Bush listed as part number 928 347 779 03. If yes I'll dive in, I too have the Electric Windscreen Washer switch to...

Re: Over mats

I'm in Taunton so not so far away. Yes I made the trip to the Roger Bray open day although my '14 wasn't on the road then. Always looking for an excuse to get out for a run so would be up for a get together, not sure how many like minded souls there are in our little corner of the world though!. Kee...

Re: Over mats

+2 for Coco or KAS 750 Carpet Mats if that works out easier/appreciably cheaper.

Somerset lad myself Gallego, where abouts in Devon are you?

You and me both, make that x 2. Have been looking for Coco Mats but appear to be from the US only unless someone on here can advise differently.

Thanks all,

RHD 914 on Ebay

Not interested myself but noted this is a RHD conversion, showing Reg No NPL 188L. Remember discussions a while ago about the whereabouts of the Crayford conversations, is this likely to be one of those? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-914-1-7-RHD-Spares-and-repairs/263493879325?hash=item3d5975861...

Re: re chroming trim pieces

Not an expert on these things but I can recommend Doug Taylor Metal Finishing in Banwell North Somerset, (BS29 6JN). They have re-chromed my bumpers at approx. £400 each, made me swallow hard but better than anyone else I could find. Very helpful and may be able to polish only to bring those parts b...
