What fasteners did you use to hold the surround in? I don't want to start electrolytic corrosion by fitting steel to aluminium.

I am fortunate to have 2 covers for my 1972 Targa Roll bar one of them i am polishing. One of the studs that holds it to the body behind the doors is missing. What have people done to replace it?

Other question. How do you get access to put a nut on the stud or are they just for locating the cover?

I did a simple engineering trick. I laid the cover on a flat surface to find that it rocked. Not a problem. I put the cover on a flat belt sander and without pressing down Hard, I sanded it flat.
