Re: Backdating - partial
Thanks for all the input guys, lots to think about. Sladey, your thread on backdating is pretty awesome ! I wonder how much it would cost to do, with installing a long hood and going the whole 9 yards and how that would effect the value of the finished car. Say the current value of my '77 (a lhd tru...

Backdating - partial
Has anyone any advice/experience of back dating a short bonnet (in my case a 1977 LHD) to an earlier long bonnet look, without changing the bonnet which looks like quite a performance ? I'm thinking get rid of the impact bumpers front and rear and replacing them with the earlier type and changing ou...

Re: Mass air flow meter for 3.2 engine
Hi Sladey
Thanks for reply. What is a MAP kit and does it make a noticeable difference to performance ?
I've read about a MAF conversion kit from DMEshop in Germany, is the MAF the same thing ?

Re: WTB Engine lid
Quick bump, still looking.
Apparently a lid from a car from 1968 - 1989 would fit.
Thanks
Tim

Re: 1974 2.7 engine value
I've got a US '77S vin 9117201255 with a non original engine.
I don't suppose anyone would know what the original engine number for my car would have been ? A long shot, but hey you never know, maybe this engine is it !
