Re: Clutch Problems

Success. The car can now change gear. I put the car into gear and rocked the car, but that still did not work. So contacted my mechanic who popped round and he was a bit more forceful with putting it into gear, which worked. Took the car for a run and all good. The next thing is the fuel gauge has s...

Clutch Problems

My 73T has been sitting in the garage for a bit, but is started fairly regularly. Today I decided to move it out of the garage, but with the car running I can't get it into gear, there is a horrible crunching noise, when trying to engage the gear. When the engine is not running I can get it into gea...

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?

Cleaned it :) It’s on display as part of the Pistonheads birthday bash tomorrow at Bicester Heritage. Mum only lives 6 miles away so came down tonight and covered it in dead things :) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230811/f542ce38cb0897d0901bfffae3bd304f.jpg I saw your car at the pistonheads ev...

Re: seat back recline mechanism slipping

I have a similar problem on my Recaro Ideal S drivers seat, but not as severe. Whilst driving intermittently my seat back will fall back one spline. I have checked the teeth and they look okay. I tried refitting the bar that runs along the back, but still have the same problem.
