Re: LH Front Seat Recliner Mechanism
Hello Mike, I have a number of standard seats and will have a look in my stash for you when I get chance in the next day or so but I think all my spare hinges are of the chrome 70/71 variety not the crackle black 72/73 variety. As I understand it, locking passenger seats were an option according to...

LH Front Seat Recliner Mechanism
For some reason someone has fitted the wrong recliner mechanism on my front left hand seat in my 73 911T, so it doesn't have the lever (or even grove for the lever) or the latch at the bottom to stop the backrest from flying forward. This is what I have and what it should look like (but the other si...

Hi Tim,TimB wrote:The part number you have quoted is for LHD (RHD is 901.341.162.01), if it is LHD you are looking for I think I may have one.
It is RHD that I need. I will update the advert now. Cheers for the advice.

Vin Sticker
Thanks for all your help on the Vin Plate question, I am now asking about a VIN sticker. Looking on the web its seems that 1973 911's also have a VIN Sticker on the door opening. Does anyone know if these are available and were they on RHD cars or only LHD ? http://road-scholars.com/wp-content/uploa...

Zeniths / Webers
Hi, I previously posted on here about my 73 911T engine popping, its been tuned better now but still does it fairly frequently. I've been advised that the butterfly's on the Zeniths could be worn, and rather than refurbing them I should get rid of them and replace them with Webers (40 IDA 3C's), as ...

Re: Missing VIN Plate
I contacted Alex as he is currently out of stock, but is trying to get a new batch next week. He also says he doesn't have the correct stampings for the plates and that Porsche used 3.5mm stamps with a specific longlegged 9 and flathead 3, that are difficult to get. His ones do seem to be stamped wi...

Re: Missing VIN Plate
I contacted Porsche GB today, who told me to ring my local dealer, but added, they might not know what to do and they should speak to the Technical Dept @ Porsche if they dont. I rang the dealer who first said I should contact a Porsche approved bodyshop, I then explained my conversation with Porsch...

Missing VIN Plate
Hi, My 1973 911 is missing its VIN plate, I am guessing since is resto in the mid 80's. Does anyone know if I can order one from Porsche, or had any experience of getting one ? I have no doubt the car is legit as I have loads of paperwork including stamped service history etc and the chassis number ...
