Other than the britcar series, this was without doubt the worst, most hideous/ painful TV coverage of any motorsport I think I have ever seen. I kept switching back thinking they will be onto some proper action any time soon, some in car footage, some decent anything but no! What a missed opportunity.

Well the baby is back from Tuthill's - all bodywork restoration complete, wheels returned back to original finish and engine tinwork/ pipework/ linkages all restored. Looks very nice IMO. Well the car is complete in terms of the work Tuthill are doing. Weather permitting, I should be collecting it on Wednesday, but if its lashing it down it will have to wait. That will be the lot in terms of work this summer apart from a few odds and ends. I will then work on the interior next winter...

Nipped over to Tuthills this morning and we are into paint :cheers: The shell is painted, and they are now painting the panels ready to fit next week. I took some pics in the paont booth but they did not come out at all so no point in posting. The quality of finish is exactly what I was looking for ...
