Re: Le Mans Classic on TV now
Other than the britcar series, this was without doubt the worst, most hideous/ painful TV coverage of any motorsport I think I have ever seen. I kept switching back thinking they will be onto some proper action any time soon, some in car footage, some decent anything but no! What a missed opportunity.

Re: 2.4s restoration
I could do with a bit of advise please. I am thinking about replacing the door pockets in my car as they look really poor. However, I'm really keen to maintain the lived in feel of the car. If I go for new door pockets, have others just found it leads on a journey of new door cars, new carpets and s...

Are these available and if so how can I buy one please?
I looked in the shop but could not see any, but saw some other posts indicating otherwise.
Thanks

Re: 2.4s restoration
Well the baby is back from Tuthill's - all bodywork restoration complete, wheels returned back to original finish and engine tinwork/ pipework/ linkages all restored. Looks very nice IMO. Big grin on the way home :) Next winter I will set about the interior, but for now just want to enjoy it. http:/...

Re: The strangeness that is the Classic Le Mans entry system
That sounds horrendous - you would have thought the name of Jurgen Bath would have been enough on its own almost.
Hope you get it sorted. To race the proper track at Le Mans is a dream beyond all dreams.
Still umming and erring about whether to go this

Re: 2.4s restoration
Well the car is complete in terms of the work Tuthill are doing. Weather permitting, I should be collecting it on Wednesday, but if its lashing it down it will have to wait. That will be the lot in terms of work this summer apart from a few odds and ends. I will then work on the interior next winter...

The car looks fantastic, and anyone that undertakes the whole lot themselves like this deserves the maximum of respect. Great stuff!

Re: 2.4s restoration
Nipped over to Tuthills this morning and we are into paint  The shell is painted, and they are now painting the panels ready to fit next week. I took some pics in the paont booth but they did not come out at all so no point in posting. The quality of finish is exactly what I was looking for ...
