Re: AM experience

Aston vantage is the only car I considered changing the 993 for until I looked into the running costs and that dented my enthusiasm somewhat. Lovely looking things!

What a difference it makes getting the wheel rims polished. It improves the look so much compared to when they were all black! Very nice.

That paintwork looks absolutely stunning! In some of the photos it looks quite like Polar Silver.

I think all build threads are of interest and especially so the diy ones. Its really interesting to see how an amateur gets on with shaping and welding. Carry on

Re: Bo'ness Hillclimb 2017 - 2nd & 3rd September 2017

Are you sure it's not Colin Robertson. My friend who has the small local village garage was telling me that his Uncle was servicing that car a good few years ago. There is a short uphill straight before the village and they used to see how fast various cars could get up to on the straight and Colin'...

Re: NCB: what are the facts?

I am a farmer and insured with the nfu for 20 plus years and they were great(until I needed to claim) until one day I dug up a water pipe that went to my water trough but it pulled itself out of the mains pipe about 10m's away. The local man said yes that will be no problem to pay the water boards b...

Re: The future.....scary!

Yippee I can't wait. As I am just about to start calving which means getting up at 3am to check if their are any on the way. I long for the day a robot will stick it's hand up a cows vajazzle and see it is coming the right way with no complications. It can then open the shed gate and chase a mental ...

Re: New aircooled model sections - 964 / 993. Ideas please..

I think it is a great idea to start a 964/993 section. I have followed ddk for a few years and have loved reading all the build threads. It possibly scared me off buying an early car but having bought a 993 off some Arfur Daley type from Spennymoor :drunken: I always thought the car was too new to c...
