I've decided to upgrade from points to a pertronix ignition system. My only problem is that I'm not sure what the distributor part no. is. Thanks for all the advice.

Year of manufacture was 1968 (although it is the 69 model). I actually don't think I have CDI. It may be that I bought a condenser for the CDI model which may explain my problems.

Does that sound right ?

My 1969 911T is burning its points out.

Having replaced the coil,points and condenser, I'm thinking I may have the wrong condenser.

I've got a Bosch distributor which I think was a replacement for the original marelli.

What's the correct part number for he condensor !

Would be grateful for views on the best plugs to use. Porsche PET lists a few part codes. Year of manufacture is 1968 but the car is fitted with an upgraded bosch distributor.
