and another..... the rear shock absorbers (bilstein in my case) have a circular rubber bush at their base, which with a long bolt through a captive steel tube, bolt through to the aluminium trailing arms my question is whether it is possible and OK to ease out this rubber bush so I can grit blast cl...

cleaning wheel hubs

hi me again.... whats the best way to clean the aluminium front wheel hubs from my car so far have achieved a reasonable finish with a bucket of hot water, a toothbrush and a bottle of Swarfega "oil and grease remover" and a sharp scalpel for the stubborn bits.....they are 34 years old aft...

ah yes, that'll be mine then..... :oops: have metioned it to a few of the DDKers that meet at the Fairmile but what with all the debate about back dating of original 2.7 Carreras sometimes tending towards keeping the original bumber configuration I thought I'd lie low for a while :wink: must say.......

mittelmotor is your best bet, I have had 2 large orders so far, the last one finaly included my replacement bonet :) their new front wings are very good, genuine porsche parts, the bonet I got is a pattern but reliably good I am told, I have yet to try it on the car......... :roll: , the reply I got...

hi how far do you want to go, just the outside appearance or including the interior..... try bonnet front wings front slam panel removing and amending bumper mounts front and rear rear licence panel rear bumper (RS or Touring look) new chrome trim to replace your black trim around doors, rear window...
