I found out an old copy of Total VW with an article on a Subaru engined 356 replica. They said the biggest problem they had was lowering the back end enough for it to sit right. A lot of these in galleries look a little too high.

Radiator normally goes on top of the engine right behind the back seat

Next Porsche/VW meet? And who is going?

As the title. Anybody know where and when the next VW/Porsche meet or festival is?
Really missed out on taking mine to dubfreeze.

mine are Fulda fronts - 225/45 x 16 rears - 245/50 x 16 on 5 stud fuch chrome rim with black insert wheels.

Gives it a much more aggressive cal/race look, plus i can use it on the strip or track. Not looking forward to replacing the rears though.

Not for the original/classic look.

15 litres of primer AND 12 litres of paint????? Is the body an inch thicker!!!!??? There is no way they would get a penny over the maximum £2500 off me. Once you have paid they could tie this situation up in loads of litigation and make it impossible for you to get your money back. Take a witness, p...

Im waiting for a guy i know who can figure out why it will turn over but not fire up.
I dont think its a major thing but should be fine in time for dubfreeze.
Ive never been before but hopefully my powers of persuasion will allow us to park them somewhere safer/on show.

Yes!! Great memory. It shows it before the proper interior went in and backs up all my guesses about the previous use, features and whereabouts! All that's left now is to get it going again and get it back to former glory! I will see if I can get the scanner working and post it here. Apparently the ...

If you can find one, try an oldish merc. i know early e class's and ML's used the pull handbrake system with a push down footbrake. Also early Lexus models had them too. Best place would probably be a salvage yard.

Not had any problems with mine as long as its serviced regularly.
