Re: 911 G series full interior (Targa)

Thanks for the corrections, it was probably 15 years that I bought it all. There are two pieces that I'm not sure what they are which is why I think it's from a targa or maybe convertible The front seats are not like my SC comfort tombstones that I currently have installed as these have far bigger b...

Re: 2.4 Turbo engine...

I installed a Garrett T25 to my 2.2t a few years ago. Used 2.4t pistons, think 3.2 cams, modded ssi, Emerald controlling fuel & ignition, 3.2 inlet system. Whenever I get time I need to go distributor less to sort out the firing. Ran well except most of the setup was done just by driving. Also u...

Alternator

Anyone know what mods are done to create an alternator with onboard voltage regulator? I remember reading in 911 World many years ago about a guy in New Zealand who was modifying a Bosch unit from another car.

Any input welcome

New crankshaft

Ok quick and simple question. I have a 2.2T engine built up with 2.4T pistons (to lower the compression). I've always fancied upgrading to the better 2.4/2.7 crankshaft and since there is one for sale quite fancied the change. Would I need new con rods as well or would it be a straight swap with new...

Long time owner - short term member

Hi All, Been an owner of a LHD '71 911T Coupe since 1992 and modified most things along the way. Not had much time over last five years though and over that time original chassis has become badly corroded to the point where I'm not sure if it's viable to repair. So I bought another shell so swap bit...
