911 doors

I am looking for 911 doors, need to be (IIRC) pre '85 without the crash bar stiffener section

I can arrange collection by courier, but they would need to be packaged, if shipped

Please let me know what you have available ?

A bit more progress ! The chassis has returned from a redip and e-coating. It looks incredible, like turning back the clock to 1978 when the chassis was first produced. I am very happy with the current results, and we should have a really good base now for the final preparation into paint. There wer...

With all the chassis modifications completed, the shell is delivered back to SPL to complete the treatment process. After the initial dipping process was conducted earlier in the year, there is obviously a few weeks delay, whilst all the fabrication is completed. During this time, a small amount of ...

thanks Mike, I guess we share the same OCD about attention to detail  after much deliberation and research, I decided to entrust Gus Pfister at Pacific FI in the USA, as he is old school, knows the correct RSR spec, and has the equipment and facilities to prepare and build in-house. I have quit...

It is planned to run coilover suspension so the rear suspension turrets require modification. This is required to give clearance of the increased diameter of the rear damper with the coil spring fitted. The upper area is also strengthened, as the loadings on this part of the chassis will increase du...

This picture shows the mounting brackets for the plumbed-in fire extinguisher that will be fitted. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5070/5673263286_b69b1cccb1.jpg The seat mounting rails have been welded in to accept a pair of Recaro race seats. Truely ace job. Can't get over the condition of this shell, just look at the floor. Have you done ANY repairs to the usual areas? Great pics, keep them coming please. Graham I guess that most of the restoration and rebuilds on here are pre '76 which means that they are non-galvanised chassis. This ...

Apart from the visual changes, it has been recalibrated to RSR specification, to suit a 3.0 engine

Lots to do yet in terms of the engine build, but will post more about this when it starts to come together

Richard, Yes, it certainly is ! The '005' pump that you supplied, was the perfect donor for my 3.0 RSR spec pump, it looks a bit different now ! :) The engine build section will be updated, once we get all the chassis detail completed http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5305/5664816178_b0767d8784.jpg htt...
