BMW 525D turbo charger problems.......can anyone advise?

Our trusty 525D Touring has fallen into the hands of the BMW dealership for some significant repairs (that's another sorry story) and the 'loss of power' I mentioned to them has just been diagnosed as turbo failure. Yes, the photograph is superb. Would also like to get hold of a copy. Combines two of my own enthusiasms - skiing and Porsches. Does anyone remember the film Downhill Racer?

356C for sale Kent Cars - values faltering?

Just received this from Kent Car Collection. The car is in California, but seems quite well priced. Is this an indication of basic 356 values slowing up / falling - especially in the US. "1964 Porsche 356 C Coupe. This is a very solid running driving 356 Coupe that has a numbers matching c moto...

I believe this is Rusty Willey's mate from Colorado selling this. If you haven't seen Rusty's car on the 356 Registry, it's amazing and well worth checking out - as are his posts.

My Telegraph copy on Saturday was accompanied by a photograph of a completely different car.............. a red B (?) with a Carrera script on the offside front wing. Wonder why the mix up? Much prefer the Paragon car, which I have seen in the flesh and is certainly desirable - although the salesman...

Introducing myself 716 XUY

After one or two 'early' posts here, I am introducing myself to the DDK forum. Since passing my test many years ago on a '55 Beetle, I graduated through numerous aircooled Citroen 2CVs finally in around 1996 to 911s. I owned several working my way initially around the IB variants, via a single 996, ...

I've owned and driven quite a range of 911's now from impact bumper cars all the way through to a 996 coupe. After a Porsche break of a few years I am now the owner of an american 356, which has just passed its inspections and about to be unleashed onto the UK roads. However I still get a get a sens...
