72 911T engine and gearbox refit
After 12 months of not being able to work on the car due to a slipped disc I have managed a loose refit of the engine and gearbox. One immediate issue that confuses me is that there is now a 2 inch gap between the gearbox shaft and the gear lever linkage. I hope the photo is attached if not will try...

Just a long shot and possibly a stupid question but have been offered a nice set of Fuch replicas to replace my cookie cutters (car is a 72 911 targa) - they are 18" 5 x 130 fitment. I suspect they will not fit but thought I would ask anyway. thanks

Just putting the engine back in my 72 targa. The car is a bitsa. 70 motor and dogleg gearbox. The gearbox has been changed for another rebuilt dogleg. Now the g/b mount doesn’t fit. The mount has been cut and rewelded to fit the previous box. Suspect it was the original mount for the 915 box and has...
