Re: My '73 914

Saturn is the English or USA name , where as Delphi is the German name. Best colour in my very biased opinion :)

Verrückt TÜV !!!

So ... spent the best part of the summer converting from a 4 to a 6 cylinder!! Plus brake issues!! And so on !! So in Germany we have the TÜV which is the MOT in Blighty.. but it's once every 2 years, but also you can have a H - plate. So classic car .. so cheaper tax and insurance. Which I have.. w...

Socket of shift rod at the gear (sic!)

My guess is that the 4 version has to be bent to pass through the engine mount bar. I'm not too familiar with the 6 but think they do the have such a bar so it down need to be straight? There were three different linkages for the production 914. The 914-6 linkage is straight. Now there were two ver...

Re: Socket of shift rod at the gear (sic!)

I bought one very similar looking from jwest a few years ago. But I bit the bullet and went for the complete kit !! Much much better. However now I have the room to change to a straight bar ! And it's improved it again massively!! It's either the straight bar or I had the patience or luck !! But I t...
