I did all of the above which improved it no end ! But last year converted to a six which meant I could convert to a straight rear bar !!! Wow what a difference again !!

I went for the J West set up with a rennshift. And changed the rear bar to a straight bar . Such a difference!

Thanks Gents, have improved it now by adjusting the timing slightly. And I think I need to learn the best method for this motor when it comes to Hot starts. Hi All, So converted my 914 last year to a 2.2T Starts first time when cold ! Even if it's been a couple of weeks! And runs great!
