Anyone venturing out to this? Nice friendly VW show but I was the only one with a Speedster.

heres a tip....put a fuse or resistor in the circuit for the rev counter and a large fuse on the battery. My regulator failed, cooked the battery and took out my vintage speedster rev counter which took 3 months to get the relevant spares from china to fix...although I bet much of that delay was dow...

Those cbs things are crap. Get a heated screen. I've never used mine but it's there for the iva and is invisible compared to vents from cbs which are fugly as hell.
