Re: Compomotive goes bust
Minilite actually went into administration this time last year as I was in the middle of buying a set. Took a while to sort out and several trips to the midlands, so not just compomotive unfortunately.

Alam,
How's your French? Just wondering if you had seen this?
I would be very interested in a tube chassis - keep us posted?

I have a set of four alloy 944 turbo spare wheels going spare. Two have had tyres removed. I think all four are straight, only one has been used. Need a clean, i was going to have them repainted but never got around to it - now going spare. Extremely light weight! Located in Bath prefer cash on coll...

Looking for a pair of inner door handles for a 356 - can be rough as long as the splines are intact - they are for a little custom project.

Re: Very OT - recommend a good 4x4?
Thanks all, food for thought. I had considered an Audi Quattro with winter tyres but I need the ground clearance. Not a big fan of the all-road, probably fits the bill well but I've always thought of it as neither one or the other. Disco is a good option but I want something with a year or two of ma...

Re: Windscreen cutting.......
Is it toughened or laminated? I have used a glass file to tweak windows to fit before - depends on the finish? I had a windscreen cut from another model's screen once - sounds complicated but the local windscreen place did it. Was a good few years ago now though. Might be worth a go?
