The only thing to watch is that you still have adequate space on the inlet and outlet side of the condenser to pull in and expel the air. Are you sure? We mount our AC compressors in the smugglers box without drilling anything - electrical panel would be even simpler.

IMO the MSD system spark interval (1ms) isn't fast enough to benefit from a fast coil.
