Noise levels.............

The noise marshal at Elvington did ask me to back off a little - he measured my car at 106.2dB static at 4500rpm. Pleased to say he was very helpful and added that he would "tip me the wink" if it became a problem.

Wonder what the level was at 7200rpm??

Just like to endorse Ian's thanks. Well done James (hot66) and Phillip (pmjt). Thoroughly enjoyed the day out with a good few laps of Elvington thrown in. Highlight for me was the handful of laps in the track car. Exhileration is an understatment! Great mix of cars and good mix of clubs - DDK and PC...

Andy

Do a search on this site. Ian Donkin wrote up a very useful description of work he did using bushes from, I think, Nick Moss/early911

Wow! they're expensive.
I recently bought a set of NGK BP8EVX from my local Auto-discount type place and, at £39 for 6 I thought I was being ripped off!

Try this for information: http://members.rennlist.com/msucro1/relaykit.htm
Fairly easy to make up ypur own kit, once you've sussed the wiring.
Also try searching for "headlight relay kits"

This is tempting and right on my doorstep. As my Northern brethren know I fight shy of getting 'hooked' on this malarky, so no .. no .... no .... well...................?
Presumably I can come and watch?
