Sorry about the on-tour jokes, just my way of making up for not taking a camera.. Yes, the northwest (which is what James meant to say) sure is pretty, and quiet enough to do the roads justice even on a midsummer weekend, thankfully. Nice vid James, I'd forgotten it was still damp when we went over ...

Hooray for solid compression numbers! Mebbe replace generator brushes to see if that helps the fireflies (or fit a translucent red and blue engine cover to replicate early sparking friction tin toy and delight following motorists). And to not be repetitive (OK, the opposite to that), if you dont get...

>forum cliche popcorn-eating emoticon here< I have a compression tester you can borrow, happy to post it, but they're not much bread from your local Hell-frauds. Its quite easy from memory - screw it in to the sparkplug hole (this is the hardest part, especially on #3), disconnect the coil lead, and...

Yes, theyre on the list cheers James. Youre right they are often same money or less than the specialist suppliers for the late aircooled stuff, and the quality is going to be right..

Just perfect. Jealous I is. It all looks so seventies too!

Must have been a real problem stopping Mike B dismantling people's gearboxes to take pictures and then running away. I hope he is safely back in his care in the community placement..

Great vid, nice lines Vix! Nice editing, Sausage!

The exterior is brilliant, I love it, almost psychedelic, and a big improvement over coffin black. The interior is completely wrong, though, I would agree. Purple velvet and white carbon would have been more in keeping... Reminds me of this little private tragedy I was looking at last night (in term...
