Yes, but she used to be a Scorpions fan!
That was a couple of years after this though..

Re: Modern Classic insurance?

Hi Jason, Hagerty included the Maserati with the 356 and 964 no problem. I can't remember their rules about what they accept, but its 12 years old..

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day

Bracklesham, South coast, last Thurday. Awesome session, 35 to 45 knots, and half mast with mast high sets. Jealous, I'm stuck inside with a chest infection! Looks like a good day, properly powerful! Best I can reply with is a much more genteel session at the Maze last October.. http://i172.photobu...

Re: A Porsche calender ? For the wall ??

A nice surprise indeed, PRS really make UK 356 ownership feel like being in a big extended family. My new year's resolution is to use them for more than just the occasional 3 quid part and free advice  So at the moment I'm mainly needing a gearshift linkage bushing (which I'm not sure how to f...

Re: wheel arch liners

Might be worth mentioning (hijacking with) my own prototype rear liners on my 964. 964's are bad for crud collecting behind the rear lights, not to mention the 100mph grit blasting of the oiltank and lines. The question is, despite full liners at the front, why did Porsche only fit a half liner to t...

Really rather very non Porsche...

Well, we had been together for 10 years, and things were OK - although I'd noticed more arguments than I remember from the old days, when we used to take off to europe together. And then I saw her. She was Italian and very pretty. I'd heard she had expensive tastes and that she'd let me down in the ...

Re: Russ (rvss) - if you're reading this good fortune fella

The wife has already muted the possibility of the car going for something a little softer As your Doctor and Psychiatrist I would agree. The car has to go, and my advice would be to sell it to someone in Scotland, to avoid the possible mental anguish of seeing it driving about. Will 15k do?

Re: DDK EUROPEAN TOUR : 23rd - 25th SEPT 2011

Wow, that's not a pretty sight, and not a common one by the looks of how it has hit the online motoring media, or from what I have seen. With lots of cars involved I mean (and the taxi involved too, that surely is pretty rare, especially considering how many laps it makes at full schnell ). Presumab...
