Mike , it can also be caused by voltage drop in 30+ year old wiring connections. Check the voltage at 2000 rpm with the headlights and heated rear screen on and you should be seeing 13.5 - 14.5 volts. If not then start looking at voltage reg etc but if ok I would suggest checking/cleaning all connec...

Hi Neil, it is operating correctly. To set the timing you must make sure that there is a constant vacuum (not fluctuating) supplied to the distributor hose and that the engine is at OPERATING temperature, not just run for 10 mins or so - if the temperature is too low, you will set timing to what app...

Hi Mike, I fitted one to Paul Brewsters car - it sounds fantastic, even more so above 5000 rpm ! But it was much too loud and now has a cap over one of the twin outlets. You NEED to hear this exhaust though!! I am sure Paull will post a reply but if not ring me in Willesden/Sunbury. Hope to see you ...
