Just a straight 15w/40 non synthetic or even HD30 - if you use a full or part synthetic oil you will be preventing or prolonging the bedding in process. Use up to 3- 3500 rpm for the first 500 miles, change oil and filter then progressively increase load and revs over the next 500 miles until by 100...

Hi Nick, I would disconnect the power feed to the CDS box and crank the engine over (without spark plugs) until you can see an oil pressure reading on the dash gauge, then fit plugs and re-connect CDS power feed . As you have replaced all the oil lines etc, be prepared for the possibility of airlock...

Forgot to mention that Koni struts are painted red, Boge black, and Bilstein green (Viper?) and my previous remarks cover original fitment Boge and Koni innards.

Jamie, If your struts are Boge then there is an O ring on the top section that you exposed by removing the top nut.The O ring seals around the side (diameter) of the top plate and the sides of the strut tube. You need to prise the top plate up with a screwdriver until it becomes free , then you will...

I have one unit taken from a car that was flooded with river water - slight silt/mud on reflector but no corrosion, chrome in excellent condition.

Try Crispin at Oak Tree Garage in Newton Poppleford (see P.Post/911&Porsche World for his ad) I sold him a 914/6 shell in about 1981 that had fibreglass 916 wings and boot/bonnet - I won't say that he did nothing with it but apparently a tree has grown through the engine bay and it is now impale...

Hi Ian, You need to first remove the time clock from the dash - pull around the outside of the bezel to remove it into the interior of the car. If the force required seems too great go to step 3. If you remove ok as above then put your fingers thro the now exposed hole in the dash, and push the rear...
