indoor car covers

Thanks Petric

I think you're right they do look like they cater correctly for the older model. They have a drop down box on their site listing 912 911 2.2 or 2.4 so I would think they have made some before. As sson as I get the other back and money sorted I'll give them a call.

thanks again.

Indoor car covers

Hi all Happy new year! My lovely lady has tried to get hold of a decent indoor car cover a couple of times but each time things have sadly gone wrong. A couple of years ago she obtained one which was great material ,it was a 911 ie non whale-tail but it had Carrera all down the side. There was a bon...

Yes I agree I noticed a few emails for T/Wells.

We could start in the Sainsbury's car park on a Sunday night!!!! Or somewhere with a car park large enough. Ha. There must be about 5/6 early 911 ' around here.

Rubber trim

I have to say that |I really hav'nt found the local porsche suppier too expensive when it comes to Rubber and it all fits well, seems a different quality to after market items. Anyhow I would always give tham a call as well, as any other supplier. After a while you will get discounts granted if your...

Seatbelt swap

I had purchased an interior from a 1974/75 911 thinking the seats would interchange, oops, they dont so I ended up canabalising the interior for items that would swap correctly hence the interior panels and belts. I did visit the classic car show at the NEC last year/earlier this year and was surpri...

Seatbelts

Yes , I have a set of Inertia belt fitted to my '72 E. There are some threads already on this conversion. The change is quite straightforward provided your seats can accomodate the attachments and if you want a neat job you may want to have a rear interior panel change which will cover the reel part...

Seatbelts

Wed May the 26th is the one I was referring to. The belts I installed I think came from a 74/75 interior. The mounting is low down on the rear inner quarter. I believe there is also a mounting on the base of the B pillar but that may not have enough room for inertia reels. The fitment is fairly stra...

Seatbelts

The change over is straight forward suggest you check another thread on seatbelts within the technical area. I would guess you would need to obtain correct interior rear panels if you want the belts hidden. I've a '73 'E' the belts are on the seat bases. on the receiving part and end of belt section...

Batteries

Hi All Got there in the end. But a word of warning. Eventually took the new rear fuse block off to establish the correct wiring to correct terminals, as I now knew this is where the drain was. This is where I found the major issue. The linked terminals on one side of the block did not correspond to ...
