Re: Good 356A coupe wanted

Hi Keith,
I do know of an A for sale but it is unfinished and your post said not a project. Anyway… it’s a 56 I think. Body done. Seller is willing to sell before or after paint.

Re: HOW MANY SPEEDSTERS IN UK?

[quote="Hugo 356"]No Speedsters, only removable hardtop Bs were assembled in South Africa. Mike might remember doing a PPI on one for me about 20 years ago. I followed his advice and dodged that one. 6 or 7 of the knock down kits fell into the Suez Canal on their way from Stuttgart to Jo'b...

Re: Classic Porsche Annual in France 2021

The annual 356 International fills up very quickly Clive. It happens every May/June in a different European country with the local 356 club taking responsibility for organising. It tends to sell out in 24 hours. Maybe we should organise a DDK one!

Re: time to paint

Hi Adrian I'm about to have my car painted in solid acquamarine too. I'll let you know what my painter (Andy at Spike's @andythepaint on instagram) ends up using. I've seen so many cars that I think are acquamarine blue and it's hard to tell whether they're the same or not; the minute the light chan...

Re: 356 International - Switzerland

Thanks Hendrik. Photos aplenty. Promise.

For anyone else who’s watching (and going) there’s a group of about ten UK cars now in contact with each other and hatching plans. Get in touch if you’d like to join in.

Re: Seinfeld sued over fake Porsche sale

Graham’s correct - experts’ reports are not made available following a court case. Judgments can be found via the Courts Service website and often via the websites of the law firms or barristers’ chambers involved.

356 International - Switzerland

Matthew Cramp and I met up today to hatch plans to travel together to the International in Switzerland. We’re planning to set off Wednesday morning 29th May, stay at a hotel halfway there Wednesday evening (and again Sunday evening) arriving back in the UK Monday evening. If you’d like to join us in...

Re: Pre A SOS

The Pre A ran into some paint problems and had to be stripped and re-painted all over again. Naturally this stalled the project, but it was worth it and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Here are some photos of the car at Spike's Vintage Restoration where Andy Finch and the team did a great job. ht...

Re: Pre A SOS

Ian Clark is putting together my early 54 1500 Super engine. My heads take the 8mm-stem valves and I have a bent exhaust valve. - 8mm stem - 130.6mm length - I'm told that the part number is 369.05.202.2 or ATE 3937. Does anyone have any of these unusual 8mm exhaust valves knocking around?! https://...

Re: SpeedsterSOS

Not been quite as organised as I'd like, but have finally got round to uploading some photos of progress on the Speedster. Bodywork is finished at the hands of Lionel's Bodyshop. Lionel (Richard Clark) and his team are just superb. They've finished the car to such a high standard, it almost seems a ...
