914 ownership Part 1

OMG - makes me have that sinking feeling as I continue loking for a car myself !

I guess we've all been there at some point during classic car ownership but I really ''feel for you'' as the car does look so sweet. It should [ eventually] give you hours of pleasure.

Good luck

Great photo's - I remember the area well from a CRA Marathon some years ago.
Pity about problems, but outride speed on ''good'' days was very impressive.

As you say, you will have 'shaken' the established competitiors and my search for a car has just been made all the harder !

Speak soon -

NEC Classic car Show

Noticed a few comments about cost of this event.

If you go on to show website , go to Buy Tickets section and enter CLUBS09 in Special Offer code - you get a huge reduction. I think I got Saturday tickets for just £13.

You can only get 2 tickets per application.

See you there !

AutoAtlanta

Anyone know anything about AutoAtlanta from USA, or had dealings with them ??
They seem to have a lot of spares , cars etc., being advertised on their website and I've been looking at a couple of the 914's ??

Thanks for the quick response - good 356 cab. would be beyond my purse, and a different model is appealing. I've had a quick look at the 914 on USA ebay - it appears unsold after reserve not met. Looks very tidy. If you are in touch with your friend in US - perhaps you could ask if it's still availa...

Hello from a New member

Just a qucik hello from a new member - first posting on the forum. I'm a long time 356 owner - 1965 'C' coupe - which I use on classic rallies as well as general use. Like open top motoring having owned a 1931 Alvis 12/60 recently, so, I'm giving some serious thought to buying a 914. If anyone knows...
