Carpets
I'm looking at fitting a new set of carpets in my 914 [ 1975 1.8l].
I've had quick look through forum articles for the last year or so and can't see any references to this - so
Can anyone give any recommendations on suppliers and any likely ptifalls.
Cheers

Rustproofing
Anyone had any experience of body rustproofing companies - Waxoil treatment etc. ? Valvoline products seem to get good reviews but I haven't seen anyone advertise using this product.
I really don't fancy the job myself , particularly in this weather !

Towing eye
Does anyone have a towing eye I could buy for my '74 , 914 [ 1800 ] - or know where I can get one without paying ''through the nose'' ? I wondered if it might be the same as one from another model ?

I spoke to Porsche at Reading recently about same - cost is about £60
Was a bit shocked at cost - but if it saves excise duty then it's cheap !

356 Rollcage
I had a rear rollcage purpose made and fitted many years ago by ''Rollcentre'' with which I've been very pleased. It was a neat job , but I can't remember cost I'm afraid. Thay have a decent website but the 356 isn't listed on their ''standard'' list, so you'll need to have a chat with them. http://...

wheel centres
Thanks - only problem I can see is that the lip around the advertised centres will not cover the inset on the wheels.
Lip on these centres look to be only a few mm. whereas on my wheels the inset is probably 9 - 10mm. wide.

Wheel centres
I have just obtained a set of std 4 bolt 914 style Fuchs wheels [ for my recently purchased 914 ], and need some centres ?
It would seem I need the early 3 prong Fuchs type cap which fits a 60mm hole ?? They need to cover the protecting bearing cap - about 15mm.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks
