And a lens next Christmas, eh? :) It's been quite an expensive Christmas as I also bought the 35mm and 90mm Summicron lenses to go with it! I'd also quite like the 16, 18, 21mm Tri-Elmar, but that might have to wait until next Christmas! As for the D-LUX 4; Jacobs have it in stock for ...

If you're not into photography then I'd consider getting a Canon S90 instead - an excellent large sensor compact with a high quality lens and manual controls. I have one and am very pleased with it. I considered the Leica D-LUX 4, but as you point out, it is rather expensive for what it is and at th...

I use Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal - works a treat on wheels to stop the build up of brake dust. Then all the wheels need is a wash over with a pressure washer or a mild car shampoo. You can also use the Clear Seal on the paint - looks good on silver or other light colours, but on dark colours I prefer a g...

Security?

What do people do with regards to security? I'm specifically thinking of security for the car when it's away from home, rather than an armour plated garage! i.e. alarms, immobilisers, trackers, physical locks, etc? Obviously I'm not asking people to post the specifics of what they use, but pointers ...

T, E and S Spec?

Can anyone point me at an online resource that details the difference in spec (interior, exterior and engine) for the T, E and S variation 911's please?

I'm specifically looking at 2.4 LWB cars from 1972 / 1973.

Thanks...Simon.

18 months of daily wear and the back of the strap looks like it came out of the box - I think not!

I enquired about the car when it was recently for sale and the whole of the front end is apparently fibreglass.

Roy,

Thanks for the info! Is there any chance someone could email me the scanned article so that I could have a brief look?

Thanks...Simon.

I've been looking at the various available replicas and there are some shocking examples out there! However, looking at the detail of this example I think it could be an Intermeccanica - although I've not seen a RHD drive example before, so I'm still not 100% certain.

Roy,

Thanks for that - I hope he does reply as I'm quite curious about the car and am tempted to do something similar as a fun project.
