16in Fuchs for Sale

I have one pair of 6Jx16in and one pair of 7Jx16in genuine Fuchs for sale. They came with my 914, but I don't think they look quite right and have since replaced them with 15in alloys. Therefore they are avaiable if anyone is after them. They are in good condition with one bit of road rash on one of...

Assorted Fuchs to move onto a New Home?

Hi All, When I bought my 914 a little while ago, it came with a selection of original (I think) 16in Fuchs Alloys; 2x6J, 2x7J and 2x8J. They are all black centres with chrome rims. 16in rims don't look quite right and I have since got a set of 15in minilites which look pretty tidy. Therefore I have ...

Re: Pistons and Barrels - What are they Worth?

Cheers Sean,

I have to admit I like the idea of doing a deal with a fellow DDK'er.

Pistons and Barrels - What are they Worth?

I'm just in the last throws of having my 1972 2.4S engine converted to a 2.7 and the intention is to sell my 2.4S pistons and barrells back to the garage.

Could anyone give me a reasonable value for them? Don't want to the the p!ss, but likewise I want the market rate etc.

Thanks in advance

Re: Modern Classic insurance?

I've never had any problems using Heritage, I've ensured two 10-12yr old TVR's through them before.

Good luck....

Corsica Historic Rally Video

Just a heads up on a pretty good video that has been shot at last years Corsica Historic Rally. It was listed on 914World, shame to keep it to themselves the other side of the pond... lots of Porsches and a few 914's ... It picks up the pace 1/3 into the video. Everyones talking French but you get t...

Engine Upgrade... What to Do

Thinking about upgrades on the engine as a project over the winter. I want the keep the upgrade 'in period' so I can carry on with classic car rallies etc. So can't go for the easy option and get a 3.0 option. It's used for a few rallies a year and I'm after a 'fast road' type of set up. I've got a ...

Start saving....... I made an enquiry a few weeks ago. If I had the money etc!! Quote "The 916/6 GT's are both very proper conversions from standard 914/6 to GT spec. The green car is fitted with a 210hp single ignition (2.4) engine with some correct original GT parts used on the body. Price is...

Can't wait to see the re-birth John....... Would be interested to keep in touch and see how you're getting on. You'll be terrorising the RS's even more!! I hope once I get the carbs 100% on mine, we'll be able to keep up with them on the twisty stuff whilst you blast them away! I've got a set of 6x1...
