...if you are attempting to run something like solidworks, inventor etc you will need a high spec cad station to run them properly. Yes, this is a very good point. If your graphics card isn't up to scratch then Solidworks, etc. will run inefficiently and will eventually start crashing on a regular ...

With respect to the cable ends, a correctly crimped ferrule may be a happy middle-ground? Not exactly in-period but useful if you want to eliminate bare strands from your terminations?

I think ET35 Cup1s are aftermarket, that is, the 2-3 sets I've seen previously have been.
