Re: What do I call these if I'm trying to sell them, just he

Thank Gary. Is it a simple process to strip them down? Any special tools needed?

What do I call these if I'm trying to sell them, just heads?

Hey all, I've a few parts that I'm going to be selling. But as I'm not that mechanical (yet) I hoped you could help me identify or name what I have. I have two sets of 'heads' from a 71 911E with MFI 2.2 Litre. But are they just known as heads? As they also have the cam housing, cams and everything ...

Re: 1969 RHD 911e Sporto valuation help

The reason I ask the questions above on what you have is that a 69 is a bit of a one-off for some parts and they are quite rare, expensive and hard to find. The more you have the more it will be valued at. There is a thread on the early S registry on all the unique parts that appear on a 69 as one ...

I'll get a picture of it next time I go to the garage.

1969 RHD 911e Sporto valuation help

Hello, I've been hanging on to a rolling shell of a RHD 1969 911e for a number of years - hoping I would one day have permission to restore it. After the arrival of my son, it's looking like that permission is never going to happen so it's time to see what I can do with it. Some rough details... Ori...

Re: 1969 rebuild

Hi mate, I have a 1969 911T 2.0 engine (minus the carbs) that I'm going to sell - if you're looking for the right engine for your car. I bought it in America about 5 years ago and it's sat in my garage since.

Re: 1969 RHD 911E Sporto - How rare?

I do have two CoA for the car, and I seem to remember one having more detail than the other!? But they're now lost in a sea of removal boxes, I'm sure they'll wash up soon enough...

Re: 1969 RHD 911E Sporto - How rare?

So Peter was very swift in his reply, and has confirmed that the car was Ultra Blue with Red Interior. And the car was manufactured in February 1969, delivered on 18/03/69 with the registration number DWF 23. Now this Reg isn't what I have on the car now, so how would I go about replacing the curren...

Re: 1969 RHD 911E Sporto - How rare?

Hi all, I've had the VIN checked in the 'red book' and it's a 1969 car. My V5 says the car was registered in March 1969. Davep I did have a CoA in fact I had two, but now they're buried in boxes in the garage as we moved house a few times since I bought the car. It might be quicker to re-apply for o...

1969 RHD 911E Sporto - How rare?

So after toying with the thought of selling my rolling shell 69 RHD sporto, I've decided to begin work on it, starting with the shell being stripped and restored... But I'm totally in two about where to take the car. Restore it back to how it left the factory? Or make it into the 69/70 race homage I...
