Octagonal rotisserie jig

Hi

Would anybody have one of these roll over jigs they no longer need now or in the next couple of months?

Thanks

Paul

#2 main bearing to cam oil way

Hi all, I am putting my 356 engine back together at the moment. While double checking the orientation of the #2 split main bearing I noticed that in the manual and on many pics online that there is a slot in the LH case half from the bottom of the bearing down to the centre cam bearing, but my case ...

Re: 356 rod bearings

Thanks Mike, I need 1st under 0.25. I’m considering changing to C rods now if I can get a reasonably priced set.

356 rod bearings

Hi

There doesn't seem to be any early 356 rod bearings available, what do you do if you want to put new bearings in A rods (tab on the left)? Obviously I could buy C/912 rods but that's quite a lot of money!

Any tips greatly received.

Cheers

356 engine oil pick up pipe

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get a new oil pick up pipe for my engine case. Can't see any online at the usual suspects.

Cheers

Big Bore Ps & Cs

Hi,

I have recently acquired this set of pistons & cylinders. They are marked 85.95 and have Mahle numbers underneath. The piston top angle seems to be 10 degrees. Can anyone identify them?

Cheers

Re: Engine numbers

Thanks Hugo, that makes a bit more sense. I may have to rejoin the registry to contact Mr Doyle.

Engine numbers

I recently asked Porsche for a COA for my car and they said they no longer do them. They did send me a little info which is interesting and seems to contradict what I thought about the engine number from AFN info I had courtesy of Mike Smith. So I'm wonder which is correct? If Porsche is correct the...
