Re: 911 parts for sale - large clearance!!
Hi there, could I please have number 11, the set of front and rear 3.2 Carrera brake callipers? No problem at all. Fancy a day out on Sat 6th at Prescott just down the road from you to collect? If not, I will be arriving early afternoon Friday 5th, so can arrange drop off or collection then, or dro...

Re: Classic Le Mans Commemorative Grille Badge
Mine arrived today and I'm delighted with it! Very, very happy indeed. I'll post some pics up once I've got the car back (it's at Bob Watsons at the mo getting the fuelling on the PMOs sorted out)

Re: An idea - thoughts, feedback and suggestions appreciated
A great idea and I'm in 110% - without going in to too much detail, somebody very close to me is going through treatment for cancer currently so I want to do something to give a little back to the fantastic healthcare professionals who have done so much for her. Please let me know if I can do anythi...

Non - Porsche content! BMW 123d M Sport Coupe
Hi guys,
Please follow the link to my advert on Pistonheads for my Fiance's 1 series Coupe. It's a lovely little car and we are only selling sadly due to her ill health. I'd do a bit more negotiation on price with a DDKer

Re: OT WTB New Daily Driver 993, 996 or some modern diesel d
Have you considered an E90/91/92 BMW 335d? Available as either a coupe, saloon or a touring? I had a 2006 SE coupe when I lived in Germany a few years ago and I loved it. 286bhp, over 400 lb/ft of torque from a super smooth 3 litre twin turbo diesel equaled a limited top speed of 165 mph, very good ...

Re: Sending money to Germany
There is another option - you could try a currency broker. I lived in Germany for 5 years and during this time my wages were paid into my normal UK Lloyds TSB account, with a proportion going to my German Sparkasse account (arranged by my employer). If I needed any more money in Euros during the mon...

Re: Wheeler Dealer, German style.
I really, really enjoyed watching this - thanks for posting! Some really interesting craftsmanship going on. The guys restoring the car, Sportwagen Eckert, are based just outside Munich (you can tell by the accents!) and normally have a biggish stand at Techno Classica in Essen. Really wish I had a ...

Re: Anybody have experience of selling their car at auction?
Why not give it to a euro dealer on SOR if you think it will achieve so much more in euroland? True - a good option. I have a feeling you may not be being very realistic about its value though (even though I've no idea on what you think it is) just based on your posts and I'm not sure the europeans...

Re: Anybody have experience of selling their car at auction?
I think what I was trying to demonstrate with those links (and yes, agreed, they are dealers) is that in mainland Europe, there doesn't seem to be the same stigma attached to SCs that we have here. Like I said, I'm not going to be asking that sort of money - it would be naive/unrealistic. But I do w...

Re: Anybody have experience of selling their car at auction?
I'd definitely put it on Impact Bumpers, LHD or RHD doesn't make much difference, though there are many members within Europe and many UK owners with LHD. The right price, good pictures and plenty of well written information should see it sell pretty easily. I'm on IB and there is quite a long thre...

Re: Anybody have experience of selling their car at auction?
I did it once with Coys. Never again. This is exactly what I've heard elsewhere - why was the experience so bad? If you'd rather not say publicly, if you wouldn't mind PM'ing me it would be much appreciated! Your car is an old Porsche so why not sell it here ? When I advertised my last 911 on DDK, ...
